Delmonico's is known to be the first restaurant in NYC to serve menu items a al carte and quickly established itself as one of the best fine-dining restaurants of New York. Over the years, the restaurant has been patronized by Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain and Napoleon III. Some of Delmonico's signature dishes include the Baked Alaska, the Eggs Benedict and the Lobster Newberg.
