Fitzcarraldo
Partners Henry Rich and Julian Brizzi, of Rucola, are opening their Ligurian-inspired restaurant in East Williamsburg. Fitzcarraldo will boast Stumptown coffee and breakfast pastries, along with delights such as a chilled fava-and-mint soup, and ramps with smoked almond pesto. The venue is decorated to reflect its Werner Herzog film namesake, and will make its official debut on June 1 at the 3rd Ward anniversary barbecue. Chef Vinny Campos will be roasting lamb, grilling sausages, and creating spiked shaved ice treats.
