Sopra

Sopra Set in a former railroad apartment, Sopra is Amali’s upstairs sister restaurant that offers an intimate setting for private dinner parties and features an open kitchen that puts guests an arm's length away from Chef Rachel Goulet as she prepares the meal. Guests can interact with the sommelier, owner (James Mallios), and chef before sitting down to a five course, multi-dish dinner. Like Amali, Sopra features a menu of Mediterranean-inflected fare, including the flavor profiles of Greek and Italian cuisines, as well as an extensive wine list that pays deference to Greek and other Old World varietals. A few house specialty dishes off the menu include: Octopus Skewers Stifado with potatoes, roasted peppers; Black Eyed Peas with smoked trout and wild greens; Squid with Roasted Fennel and Celery; Lamb with Avgolemono with scallion and thyme.
