The Palm

The lunch order that started it all. In a new (unauthorized) biography of the editrix, author Amy Odell revealed that, since the Condé Nast offices moved down to One World Trade, Anna's favorite lunch has been a Caprese Salad, with no tomatoes, and a side of steak from The Palm. Doesn't sound too bizarre at first, until you realize that a Caprese Salad is literally just mozzarella and tomato. So basically, yes, she eats a simple dish of meat and cheese. Of course, at this swanky Tribeca classic, that dish runs her around $77. Just a heads up if you plan on trying the Wintour diet for a day.
