Daniel Boulud's highly anticipated new restuarant is opening on the Upper East side today. Eater has been following Bar Boulud's progression which includes the installation of this custom wine tasting table (shown above). Capable of seating 15, this table designed in Mexico City out of white oak was modeled after eighteenth-and nineteenth-century negotiation tables where businessmen served drinks to potential clients. We are anxious to read the first review, and decide if its worth a trip uptown.
