If you ask partner John McDonald, the best seat in the house is at table number 35, a round banquette in the rear of the restaurant which overlooks the rest of the dining room. The table seats up to five, but is still romantic and cozy enough for two, tucked in a nook and accented with a midcentury light fixture.
