Catch This London Culinary Hot Spot While It's Still In NYC

What happens when two insider hot spots join forces just in time for Fashion Week? You get an influx of stylish diners and one very coveted reservation.

Jet-setting foodies may already be familiar with COYA, the London-based eatery that has garnered international fame (and outposts) thanks to its vibrant Peruvian cuisine and upscale clientele. This week, it's popped up at Spring Place, the members-only social club located, conveniently enough, smack dab in the middle of NYFW hub, Spring Studios.

Through Thursday, February 14th, COYA is providing an immersive dining experience inside the chic space, complete with dishes on dishes full of Latin American flare, along with a selection of unique (and powerful) cocktails. Even the tunes that accompany your meal will be curated by COYA's Music Director.

The tapas-esque menu model encourages a multi-course experience to share, allowing guests to take in as many flavors as their Gucci belts can handle. And an experience it certainly is. Instagrammers will be delighted by the guacamole starter, which features two seasoned avocado halves freshly smashed at your table. A range of ceviche, including COYA's signature Ceviche de Atún Chifa is available, and though the seafood is perfection, we'd definitely recommend trying the vegetarian version, featuring sweet golden beets. When it comes to carne, the Tataki de Res Wagyu cannot be missed - the thin layer of Wagyu beef with cashew nut puree and garlic literally melts in your mouth. And cheese lovers? Order the Burrata with a Latin twist (read: pickled aji limo chili peppers).

Of course, no meal is complete without an adult beverage. From the classic Pisco Sour to the photogenic Aji Margarita (aji amarillo and jalapeno infused tequila mixed with fresh lime, organic agave syrup, and homemade avocado and green apple puree), the cocktail list is as varied and drool-worthy as the food.

And while Spring Place is typically a members-only watering hole, COYA has put aside a limited number of seats for us mere mortals. To make a reservation through February 14th, email coya@springplace.com.
