You can't really go wrong when dining at one of Daniel Boulud's restaurants and finding a deal at one of this world famous chef's restaurants is even better. This world renowned chef has opened up several restaurants around the world and has earned himself numerous Michelin stars throughout his career. At 76th Street between Madison and 5th Avenues one would expect astronomical prices for tiny portions of food. However at this French "cafe", and we use the term "cafe" lightly, you can get the $37 pre-fixe lunch menu which comes with two generously sized portions of some of the best French fare you can find on the East Coast. By all means feel free to pop in for dinner too, but just be prepared to shell out, on average, $40 per entree.
