Peter Luger Steak House
If Peter Luger Steak House isn't classic New York then I'm not sure what is. This Williamsburg institution opened in 1887, serving incredible steak to locals and tourists alike for over a century. It has been named the best steakhouse in New York by Zagat 30 years in a row, which makes sense to those who have witnessed (and tasted!) the perfectly cooked meat.
