Sylvia Woods aka the "Queen of Soul Food" founded her restaurant in 1962, creating one of the most popular soul food eateries in the country. Everyone from Nelson Mandela to President Obama have tried Sylvia's world famous chicken & waffles. Although Sylvia herself passed away four years ago, her legacy lives on through her food.
