As NYC's number one go-to engagement spot, if he brings you here and doesn't propose it'll probably get really awkward when the couple at the table next to you gets engaged. Architectural Digest cited the restaurant as the "5th most romantic in the world," and we agree. The building is actually a carriage house from the 1700s, and exudes romance with its chandeliers, brick fireplaces, and roses on every table.
