Absolutely no one was here for the potato wedges that JG Melon's been serving up the past few years - driven by a "supply chain issue" (whatever that means) to pivot away from its iconic cottage fries.
Thankfully, those dark days have finally come to an end. Those delightful little pillowy ridged potato coins have found their way back to the Upper East Side.
Our advice? Hit the ATM and get your tush up there ASAP before there's another out-of-nowhere cottage fry industry-wide crisis.
