The Smile is now open for weekend brunch starting at 9. AM. Yes, even in the East Village, they have one of those in the morning too. And while we can't exactly see how it's totally possible to be considered to be eating a proper 'brunch,' and not a breakfast, that early, hey, anything that makes it socially acceptable for an early bird Bloody Mary. And seeing as it is so early, you'll need more than just half a grapefruit to soak up that house-infused pepper vodka cocktail. Enter their toasted hazelnut and lemon hibiscus donuts. Gluttonous?
