The Ditmas Park bistro's menu is one American classic after the next - an ode to simpler times of straightforward delicious dishes. A Tuna Sandwich on sourdough, Red Flannel Hash, Steel Cut Oatmeal, and Apple French Toast. The place does brunch, and it does it well. I mean, Chocolate Bread with Sea Salt and Butter? Take that and lay on a side order slab of smoked bacon. Don't think, just trust. That right there is something more American than the flag, apple pie, and Ralph Lauren combined.
