Narcissa - A Casually Posh Affair

NarcissaDid somebody say Duck Leg Schnitzel? You were thinking it, we could tell. Well, speaking of the top two magic menu buzzwords that never fail to get us going, not that 'leg' too is not a beggingly appetizing word, we must speak of brunch at Narcissa. Thankfully it seems that daylight, as with vampires, drives away the usual sceney set posted up at The Standard's East Village restaurant, bringing it to a level of bearable perfection for all to enjoy. As always with Andre Balazs, expect an impeccably clean, comfortable space, and a brilliantly on point menu that plays upon the margin of high and low. Enjoy your cucumber-grape seltzer, Manchurian Cauliflower, and side box of donuts. Or throw the chef a bone and indulge his incredibly obvious fondness for a frittata. We're all about a frittata, but three on one menu? Someone's got it bad. Narcissa, 25 Cooper Square [Photo via @myeattinerary]
