NYC Brunch Spots: Where To Get The Best Toast This Weekend

With its nautically rustic interiors - think tavern on the sea - and cosmopolitan comfort food, Monument Lane is a perfect place for a Sunday. They've classic brunch offerings all around, from a Farm Egg Scramble to Chilaquiles (even if you've no intention of ordering the Chilaquiles, I highly recommend at least pretending to consider it with your waiter - it's far too fun a word to risk going unsaid, or even more enjoyably, unheard). But I love them most for their toast, which, perfect in it's almost English sophisticated simplicity, is joined by this trinity of creamed butter, raspberry jam, and whipped honey.
