Waverly Restaurant - Diner Dreams

Waverly RestaurantAnother one of New York's 24-hour necessary staples, Waverly Restaurant is that lovingly greased up diner that you should find yourself in at 4AM, the best decision in a night of poor decision making. Diners - so adamantly American, what with their overzealous selection, and have it-your-way attitude of a temporally limitless breakfast. Because really, of all possible foods, there should be no cut off time on eggs in restaurants. It's not as if they're no longer in the kitchen, or that they become more difficult to make with the setting of the sun. But we digress. Go for a burger and fries, construct a breakfast platter of all the classics, dig your tired hands into a Monte Cristo, heck, get a bowl of cereal and pour in a milkshake for milk. It's God knows what hour in the morning and you're having brunch - there are no rules! Waverly Restaurant, 385 Sixth Avenue [Photo via @bitetheapplenyc]
