What in the evening is a perfectly respectable (almost snobby, even) Upper East Side restaurant, on Saturday afternoons is a midday, rosé fueled dance party featuring the occasional sparkler, and good (but overpriced) French food. Hey - this is New York, and if you want a good scene, it costs extra.
