Named after Italian artist Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, the Italian restaurant is fittingly located across the street from the Whitney Museum of Art. With sculptures and paintings by Donald Baechlerand Frank Stella, and four original Henri Matisse stencil lithographs on the walls of a private dining room, the restaurant itself serves as an art gallery.
