NBC Telethon
On Friday night, NBC will host a telethon to raise funds for hurricane relief. Matt Lauer will host the hour-long program, which will air from 8-9pm on NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA, and will stream live on the NBC.com Web site. Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Sting and Christina Aguilera are all slated to perform at the telethon, called "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together." In 2005, Lauer hosted a telethon for Hurricane Katrina, raising $50 million for the Red Cross. Call in your donations on Friday to help out!
**UPDATE: Nearly $23 million was raised thanks to the telethon!
