Last night "The Kids Are Alright" had it's premiere screening at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. Some of the film's actors attended, including Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, and Josh Hutcherson. Other celebrities like Edward Norton, Ellen Barkin, and Amy Poehler were also there to watch the movie.
The film has been hailed by both The New York Times and Rotten Tomatoes as one of the hot movies of the summer and the cast is probably the reason. "The Kids Are Alright" stars shined on the screen and on the red carpet, wearing elegant dresses and fitted suits. Other guests came in more casual clothing like denim and white jeans on the SNL stars and a checkered frock on "America's Next Top Model" winner Kim Stolz. Although it was star-studded and there was a red carpet, the viewing was a low-key event where the actors and other guests could enjoy the movie.
