When the Bronx Zoo's cobra escaped its reptile house in 2011, it made the news for more than just going missing.
The Bronx Zoo's Cobra apparently joined Twitter and instantly gained thousands of followers. The venomous animal on the loose cracked some jokes while visiting some less-favorable New Yorkers and seeing some of the cities sights. The cobra was eventually caught, but stayed on Twitter and continues to give us insight into his thoughts from behind the plexiglass. He even has his own Pinterest page dedicated to his hero Samuel L Jackson from
Snakes on a Plane.
