Sean Avery
Sean Avery has a pretty impressive fashion resume. He interned at Vogue, guest edited at mensvogue.com, guest judged on Project Runway All-Stars, and is the face of Hickey Freeman's Spring Summer 2012 ad campaign. Not bad for a guy who has spent the last dozen years racking up penalties in the NHL. Now, Avery's hockey retirement appears to be imminent, and so does his emergence in the fashion industry. Avery's specialty is women's fashion, not men's, in fact, he finds men's fashion a bit boring:
"You do suits and pants and that's about that. Women's clothes tell a story. That's what's interesting to me."
It's not every day that you see an NHL player turned fashion-designer.
