In celebration with Asia Art Week, Tally Beck Contemporary presented a group exhibition of artwork from Southeast Asia. On the Threshold of the Senses: Contemporary Art from Southeast Asia is a collection of works from a variety of mediums including photography, drawing, woodcut print and multimedia sculpture.

The featured artists are Christina Dy (Philippines), Tada Hengsapkul (Thailand), Kriangkrai Kongkhanun (Thailand), Michael Lee (Singapore), Be Takerng Pattanopas (Thailand), Ohm Phanphiroj (Thailand), Thu Rein (Burma), Khvay Samnang (Cambodia), Maitree Siriboon (Thailand), Imhathai Suwatthansasilp (Thailand) and the Tarin Padi collective (Indonesia). These visceral pieces comment on political issues as well as haunting stereotypes of urban life. The event was sponsored by Tiger Beer from Singapore.

On the Threshold of the Senses: Contemporary Art from Southeast Asia was curated by Bangkok-based curator and art critic, Brian Curtin, PhD. The exhibit will be on display at Tally Beck Contemporary from March 21 through April 29.
