“Have you heard of Tinder?” was once commonplace, as we can thank Tinder for opening the door to the proliferation of dating apps on our smart phones. Tinder started the swipe left, swipe right phenomenon, and will be the bane of many doctors treating 20 something’s for carpal tunnel in the near future. Now, you can hook up your Instagram to Tinder to show how good you are with filters. Another new feature within the app is that it will now show you the mutual friends and friends of friends you have in common with your matches to show how many degrees of separation exist between the two of you. If you’ve already used Tinder and haven’t found the Prince Charming to your Tinderella, the epic fails are great for entertainment purposes if nothing else. Fun fact: Tinder processes more than 1 billion swipes each day.
