We last left off with Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha in 2010 with, of course, the ill-fated and vaguely problematic Sex and the City 2 (the one where they go to Abu Dhabi). Now, over a decade later, we've all been reunited. Well, most of us.

And Just Like That... the Sex and the City revival is upon us. We may not have asked for it, but it's a gift nonetheless. And though we refuse to believe that that much time has passed since the OG series finale (which, indeed, aired way back in 2004), it's pretty hard not to notice that the world, and our girls, have changed. We mean, Carrie Bradshaw even uttering the word "podcast" is jarring. 

But alas, now that the limited series has officially kicked off on HBO Max, it's not like we're not going to watch it. 

And watch it we did. And we have some thoughts.
