Brand spankin' new to the scene is "Orange is the New Black," a Netflix original series based on Piper Kerman's novel about her experiences in a female prison for 14 months. This raw and edgy new show has an almost-all female cast, and shows women in their most primal and crude states, and how they get by in the most dire circumstances. The first episode of this show will have you hooked-- which is nothing less than what we expected from the creator, Jenji Kohan (who also created "Weeds"). "Orange is the New Black" will make you laugh, cry, and sometimes hide behind the covers.
