David Burke Kitchen at the James Hotel has the most eclectic three course prix fixe menu. For starters, lobster scrambled eggs or duck meatball lasagna are among the nine different choices. For the main course, they offer an organic turkey with black pepper cranberries and vanilla bean sweet potato puree. But if you want to stray from tradition, there is a naked lobster steak, a dry aged porterhouse for two or a crackling pork shank with sauerkraut. And when it's time to hit the sweets, you are left with eight choices, ranging from a roasted pumpkin with toasted marshmallow to a toffee monkey bread for two with banana caramel and maple pecan ice cream.
