Jeff Koons Limited Edition “Licks” Print, 2002
Koons was chosen to design the stage background for the Licks tour and this image was the same one used for the massive retractable stage backdrop for the tour. This digital print on paper, is one of the mere 250 signed by the artist and all four members of the Rolling Stones. Upon release, the edition sold out almost immediately. This is another example of how the Stones influence transcends all genres of artistic expression and solidifies them as icons of music and pop culture.
