Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lawrence Named Co-Recipients of 2013 Nobel Peace Prize
In a surprise twist,
WetPaint announced that Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lawrence were both nominated for the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize “for their significant contribution to human awesomeness.” They released statements on behalf of both Miley and Jennifer, as well as the Nobel Peace Prize chairperson "Thorbjørn Jagland."
Miley tweeted:
“OMFG, sooo amazing!! :) Thx to u all!” along with a photo of herself in a crop-top.
Jennifer responded on E! News:
“I’m so excited! I’m like a chihuahua. I’m so excited, I’m peeing! The medal will look so good next to my Oscar.”
As for the prize money, they claimed that Miley would be rescuing 30 more puppies and outfitting them all with dinosaur onesies. Jennifer was supposedly planning on executive-producing a Hunger Games-esque reality series in collaboration with E!
