From A Perfect Family
Let's face it, not everyone's family can be the Kardashians. Some people come from less than ideal families and that shouldn't be held against them. You're lucky if your partner's family is great and normal (whatever that means nowadays), but realistically, that can't always be the case, nor should you expect it to be. Family is important, but your relationship with the person is the priority. We still wish Kris Jenner was our mother-in-law, though.
