How Much You Hate the Kardashians
No one cares if you prefer to pay attention to people who have actual talent. No one cares to hear you get up on your soapbox and proclaim that Hollywood is dead and it was the Kardashians who killed it. No one cares that you noticed that I just made a subtle Nietzschereference in the sentence before. Also, no one cares that you read and understand Nietzsche. It's called the entertainment industry, not the talent industry. Like it or not, the Kardashians are entertaining. We're not saying you have to love them as much as we do, but they're not exactly the worst people on the planet. Ever heard of ISIS or Trump? They're definitely worse. Overtly abstaining from low brow pop culture doesn't make you markedly more intelligent or authentic than other people, it means that you're not fun to talk to over a couple of drinks. The same people who asked you for your opinion are the same people who asked Piers Morgan for his opinion. Which is no one. Ever.
