Don’t try to draw comparisons
As much as you try, there is very little that compares to the oppression a black woman will endure in the United States. She will be paid less and viewed worse. The image of the "Welfare Queen" coined by good old Reagan, is forever engraved in our memories. Unfortunately it doesn't stop there. Men will never experience the feeling of menstrual cramps, asking for contraception, buying Plan B at 3 am, entering the ER alone for a rape kit or having to walk into an abortion clinic penniless and alone. Don't compare yourself, and especially don't enter the "oppression olympics." We all want a better life for everybody.
