MealPal was created in March of 2016 by the founders of ClassPass. Users pay a flat rate of $119 a month to choose a lunch from participating restaurants Monday-Friday. This subscription means that each lunch costs less than $6. It even has a "Tinder for Food" function (we love it) in which users can swipe right or left on up to 100 ingredients that they like or dislike (sound familiar?) and the app's bot recommends meals based on those preferences.
