Why We Love It: This beach-inspired Billyburg bar boasts a lovely outdoor patio that’s floor is covered in sand. Oh, the inside is covered in sand too. And they’re just as serious about the beach vibe as they are about the drinks. Surf bar serfs up one of the best piña coladas in the city. The balance of dark rum, pineapple juice, and milk is just right, and the ice is pureed until it’s extra smooth and creamy. If you’ve knocked back one too many of these refreshing drinks, the seafood menu should sober you up enough…to keep drinking. The lobster roll is delish.
