If your chi chi friend from Europe is in town and demands that your group go to an obnoxious, roped-off club, it's probably a good idea to walk in with everyone else. She'll likely buy a bottle and there's less of a chance you'll get in by yourself than with a gaggle of girls in Hervé Léger.
