A former basketball player in the Philippines, this Filipino-Canadian from Quezon City was scouted while on a business trip to NYC as a fashion buyer. When asked once by an interviewer what he thinks he did to get to where he is, he calmly but confidently answered, "Be myself." While he rolls in fast-paced NYC, this self-possessed model moves at his own pace—what's the rush? He makes unforgettable cut-to-the-chase eye contact though—direct but still mysterious. It made its Givenchy debut in Fall 2010. He was one of many who walked the memorable show, but The One who closed it out with his unplaceable street-style attitude and stroll.
