Organized packing makes for organized un-packing. This means getting to a Monica Geller level of cleaning and organization - I'm talking labels on every box and bag to ease your move. It will streamline the process exponentially if your box labeled "Kitchen" is actually pots and pans not all your winter coats. Also, find ways to wrangle as many free boxes as you can. Whether you are checking the free section on craigslist or just asking your local grocery store, there are so many free or cheap options for obtaining boxes.
