We live in an era wrought with conflict, when even a moment of peaceful introspection can be hard to come by. We have stress and we have joy, we support our close friends and chosen charities, and we always have spare time (and a spare fork) for a slice of cake. But it's less often that we take time out of our schedules to stand in solidarity for peace with our families, friends, and neighbors. Today, however, is the United Nations' annual International Day of Peace (sporting a theme of "Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future") and you're invited to the celebration.
