In case you thought hipsters have finally hit the limit of ironic retention, SURPRISE! Allow us to introduce you to #Normcore, a term that the fashion world has taken on as a sort of tongue-in-cheek joke/not joke ever since The Cut published an exposition on the "trend" of looking "normal." Coined by the 20-somethings of NYC-based consulting group, K-Hole, Normcore is a movement sort of meant to uphold the "You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake" mentality. So if the idea of ditching your A.P.C. in favor of Hanes wasn't a real thing before, it certainly is now, whether you're being ironic or not. Reject fashion! Embrace the mid-western Dad look!
