Tagging someone in memes is, quite possibly, the most intimate form of communication. It requires a working knowledge of someone's sense of humor, an entire treasure trove of inside jokes, and pretty much says, "I saw this and thought of you." Usually, meme-tagging is reserved for close friends and longtime partners. Therefore, excessively tagging someone you've only been on a few dates with is weird AF. Besides running the risk of them not finding it funny, it also conveys the sense that you have no other friends to tag.
