The family-owned Le Sereno hotel is quaint, sophisticated, and luxurious all at the same time, thanks to the French designer Christian Liaigre, who has designed likes of Rupert Murdoch’s and Karl Lagerfeld’s home, as well as the Mercer Hotel in New York. Each of the rooms are minimalist, yet simple touches such as the metal lamps in the room or the black granite washbasin gives it character. The open-air Le Sereno Restaurant serves exquisite fusion cuisine, while giving diners an open view of the ocean. Of course, it wouldn’t be St. Barth’s without some indulgence and pampering, and Le Sereno delivers this through its luxurious spa experiences which will no doubt make you feel like a million bucks.
