The Cloisters

So many TripAdvisor reviews agree, The Cloisters is a gorgeous spot to stroll through some fall foliage in Manhattan. And guess what? It's accessible via subway! Located on four acres overlooking the Hudson River in northern Manhattan's Fort Tryon Park, the museum is dedicated to the art, architecture, and gardens of medieval Europe. Yes please. And remember, if you buy tickets at a museum ticket counter, the amount you pay is "up to you." Don't be fooled to think you must fork over $25 per ticket, though generosity is always in style.
