Bear Mountain
This one may be a hike (we're so sorry) out of the city, but it is so worth it. Bear Mountain is up the Hudson, in Westchester, and offers hiking, biking cross-country sky trails and more. Visitors from the city can either opt to drive (road trips are fun, we promise) or catch the Metro North and take a cab to the park.
