Pot is Legal
It took me awhile to wrap my head around this one, but pot is legal. I knew beforehand of its legality, but it is one thing to watch it on
Weeds, and quite another to experience it firsthand. In Los Angeles, it is perfectly acceptable to roll a joint at a party, or even the patio of a bar. And unlike, say, in New Jersey, where one considers any old skank weed acceptable, Californians have made marijuana a high art, akin to the different tastes and varietals of French wine regions. Want a “body stone”? Smoke some afghani, of the indica strain. Looking for a “head high”? Pick up some purple haze, of the sativa breed. In California, it’s truly a science.
