Angel Orensanz Center
In 1986, Spanish artist Angel Orensanz purchased New York's oldest synagogue and transformed it into a breathtaking gallery and performance space. Compared to the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Sistine Chapel, the Angel Orensanz Center has become a hotspot for fashionable parties, particularly weddings. Forget Carrie Bradshaw; the real-life Sarah Jessica Parker celebrated her nuptials here with beau Matthew Broderick. Site rental ranges from $15,000-$20,000.
Angel Orensanz Center, 172 Norfolk Street. (212) 529-7194
