Drinking Hand Sanitizer

People getting drunk off hand sanitizer is nothing new because of the product's high alcohol content. This trend is particular popular in prisons and hospitals causing officials to place tighter restrictions on access to hand sanitizer, replacing them with non-alcohol based ones.

Many contain mostly ethyl alcohol, which is the same as in alcoholic beverages. However, they can also contain isopropyl alcohol which can be dangerous if ingested.
