DO: Listen to electronic music & surround yourself with neon lights

The classic rave cliché still persists for a reason. Flashing neon lights, electronic music, and dancing all feels SO great. Speaking from experience, you want to stick to upbeat techno that's very repetitive (I always do Robyn's "Call Your Girlfriend" on repeat). Metallic, clanking rock or weepy indie won't be nearly as good.
