Gold Stamps
The Royal Mail is utilizing the Olympics in every way possible to show support for the UK. In addition to the previously discussed Gold Post Boxes, they will be issuing gold themed stamps to commemorate the gold medals earned by their Olympian and Paralympians. The image will be of every Great Britain member or team that wins a gold this summer. The stamps will be sold at 500+ post office branches within 24 hours of a Gold medal win. To accommodate the expected high-demand, the branches will be open on Sundays. The stamps will be available at the 4700+ branches throughout the UK within a week of the win. The stamps will be available until September 27, 2012.
