Louise Roe in Black Halo This gorgeous young TV host aged herself by about 10 years in this heavy, long sleeved gown by Black Halo. Melissa McCarthy in Marina Rinaldi The hilarious star of Bridesmaids could not blame any bride for her poor wardrobe choice last night. While the rosey hue was flattering, the strange double layered sleeves were described by a friend of mine as a "skin colored flap" - and well, that can never be a good thing. Meryl Streep in Lanvin Meryl Streep may have won for Best Actress, but she did not win best dressed. The ruched sleeves on this Lanvin gown were old fashioned and aging, and the glittery material reminded me of something you would find in the 99 cent bin at Joanne Fabrics. The matte gold earrings also looked cheap, making the whole outfit was an unfortunate choice for such a beautiful and talented actress. Missi Pyle in Valentina Delfino The Y necklace plus drapey, fishtailed dress might have been passable - were it not for the turquoise color, making the combination look more prom than glam. Natalie Portman in Vintage Dior Haute Couture This swiss dotted gown was sweet, but would have been better paired with a deep ruby earring and clean neckline. The diamond necklace and black clutch, while lovely on their own, were poorly matched accessories for this sweet style.
